A native of Pike County, Alabama, Chief Brooks became a law enforcement officer in September of 2000. With 23 years of experience, Chief Brooks has spent 13 years in Narcotic and Criminal Investigations. He has been a Field Training Officer for many years and is certified in HAZMAT when dealing with meth labs. He is married to Lakisha Brooks and has three adult children: Alexus, Cody, and Justin. Chief Brooks enjoys fishing at Lake Eufaula, spending time with his grandchild (Khada), and just about anything outdoors. He has worked in various positions with the Drug Task Force, Brundidge Police Department, Troy Police Department, and the Troy University Police Department.
